Preventive Maintenance Plans for Loading Docks & Commercial Overhead Doors

At Loading Dock, Inc., we strongly recommend our customers to have scheduled a preventative maintenance plan for their commercial overhead doors and their loading dock equipment to keep your overhead doors and/or loading docks in peak condition at all times.

Having a preventative maintenance plan will improve the operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of your business. It will decrease costly downtime by preventing malfunctions, and reducing the need for emergency repairs.  

Some elements may need periodic lubrication, while others may need tightness adjustments or replacement due to corrosion. 

The preventive maintenance should be done by trained service professionals, as professional technicians have extensive experience in identifying the potential for problems before they have a chance to occur. 

How Often Should Preventive Maintenance Be Scheduled?

The frequency to perform preventative maintenance will vary according to the climate and other conditions under which the door and/or the loading dock equipment regularly operates.
